Archive material is an original site specific performance which balances between live editing, documentary theater and audience-actor interaction, creating a fascinating encounter of the present with the past – two, five or even fifteen years ago. 

It could be a real condition. And maybe it is, as The performance gives the protagonists, three of the members of the group a rare opportunity: to see excerpts from their lives, to remember or even change their minds, or even to request the deletion of all their recorded data and create a new story.

The Drft Space in Koukaki is being transformed: in a waiting room of a service, in a dining room of a family dinner, in a peculiar editing room. The viewer traverses the space and sometimes observes and sometimes becomes part of the memories and experiences of the protagonists, until they reach the present day.

What connects Aydim’s story with that of Lefteris and Khalil, so many years later? The space itself forms a special decoupage setting and viewers learn about the journey of the Station Athens group through the live performance and audiovisual archival material. The audience actively participates, filling in the missing pieces with the actors.. 

Viewers become participants, fellow travelers on a journey through space and time that composes the story and evolution of each protagonist.Through the adventures, joys and disappointments of Aydim, Khalil and Lefteris, the personal and collective path of a theatrical group emerges that sometimes identifies with and sometimes transcends the individual stories of its members.
